We all have a Job to do in the Church. Together we can make a difference in the lives of our Families, friends and community. Our Pastor is very open to give her members a chance to Show how God has used you even if you were turned down somewhere else. But she does require a few things especially working in the youth department you must pass a background check that goes for both men & women.
Meet Our Pastor:
Hello friends & family, First of all I am truly grateful for you stopping by and visiting us on this website and if you already been to one of our services we are so glad you choose us to worship and have an opportunity to have an encounter with God. My name is Marlita, and I am originally from California and moved to Georgia in 2018. A little bio to get to know me better. I have dyslexia it's a learning disability but... that doesn't stop my ministry from reaching those all over the world. I currently hold three degrees 2 associate degree in computer technology and science. And my third is a bachelor's in theology & religion. While I am Pastoring, I will be taking on my Fourth degree to Master of Divinity (Mi DIV). I have six children, three boys and three girls. I love to have fun such as playing video games with my three younger kids, having pizza and movie night, and just enjoy relaxing. It took me 47 years to finally submit to my calling. which is on the podcast if you like to listen in. I have also started a book which hopefully I will be done by the time we have the official doors of the church open. I love storm chasing I find it to be very challenging, and I love to be challenged in the word as well. I love to hear other people opinion about how they understand the word of God. I believe we can still have fun and still be saved and still have Jesus is our lives daily without the judgment of this world. I believe in Honesty, being transparent, I believe in the truth. There is so many things that are going on in our lives and we might wonder who we can turn to, or if you have a midnight hour, who can we reach out to, I made a vow to God one day and said if I accept this next walk with you there is a few thing I need done. 1) I don't want to be the serious preacher but, have a sense of humor and still be serious while I am bringing God's word. 2) I don't want to hide anything from God's people I believe there are too many well-known preacher that hides behind and still comes into the house of God preaching the house down but don't show your emotion. I want my congregation to understand that I might go thru some things you have experience thru out the day or the week even the year. I want to be able to sit and listen and while you're speaking, I will pray in silence. We will have and open alter for you to come in and pray in private or when we have alter call. and finally, number 3) I would definitely bring back tarry night service with the church mothers and also give God's people and opportunity to show their God Given Gift. There is so much I would love to share about me it will take another year to complete. But if you made this far, then think how far God will take you on your next chapter in your life.
